Client Spotlight:  Watson Clinic Awarded Prestigious Accreditation  

                                                                            
Watson Clinic was recently awarded a 3-year accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC).  This prestigious accreditation recognizes the high caliber of breast cancer evaluation and management services offered by their Women’s Center. “All of us at the Women’s Center, and throughout Watson Clinic, are truly honored to receive this recognition from the NAPBC,” says Elisabeth L. Dupont, MD, a board-certified breast surgeon and the Medical Director of Breast Health Services at the Watson Clinic Women’s Center. “This is a validation of the commitment we all share in offering the most comprehensive and expertly executed breast health services possible to our family of patients.”  Watson Clinic is one of only 13 accredited centers in the Florida.
Receiving care at a NAPBC-accredited center ensures that a patient will have access to comprehensive care, including a full range of state-of-the-art services, a multidisciplinary team approach to coordinate the best treatment options, information about ongoing clinical trials and new treatment options, and quality care close to home. The NAPBC surveyor was particularly impressed by the Women’s Center facilities, the professionalism and dedication of the team, and the cooperation among each member of their staff.
Watson Clinic's Breast Health Services include a Women’s Center for breast imaging, as well as consultation for breast, plastic and reconstructive surgery services, complimented by our accredited partner sites, Watson Clinic and the Center for Cancer Care & Research. Patients benefit from digital mammography read by dedicated breast imagers with fellowship training and expertise in mammography, breast ultrasound and breast-specific gamma imaging.  MRI and MRI-guided biopsy are also available.  
The Women’s Center also offers breast surgery consultation and plastic surgery services -- often working in concert to provide patients with immediate reconstruction and oncoplastic techniques for breast conservation candidates.  Breast-specific nurse navigators and onsite social workers guide patients through all phases of care – from diagnosis to intervention and survivorship – and a strong emphasis is placed on patient education.  Dedicated oncologists work from the Moffitt-affiliated Center for Cancer Care & Research using advanced chemotherapy & radiation technologies. Participation in clinical trials is encouraged, as well as involvement in Watson Clinic’s cancer survivor support groups, outreach events, nutrition counseling and exercise programs.
“Our breast specific cancer conferences epitomize this sense of teamwork,” says Dr. Dupont.  “Due to the large volume of breast cancer patients we treat, the entire breast health team gathers on a weekly basis to review each newly diagnosed patient case and collaborate on their course of treatment. This approach ensures that the patient benefits from the expertise of our entire team. Every aspect of their care is scrutinized and carefully considered by all of us – resulting in the most effective treatment plan for each of our patients."

We have been very happy working with Bernie and the crew at SMT. We feel that they have been worth the additional money and the return on investment far outweighs any other form of advertisement that we do.
 
We also find that the quality of client generated from the web marketing is more desirable as they seem to be more educated.
 
The other benefit is the flexibility. The financial commitment of the long term contracts of the yellow pages verses the dynamic marketing of the web is far more desirable. We can change our web presence month to month depending on our client load, instead of being locked into an expensive year long contract. For half to a third of the monthly yellow page expense we can generate the same, if not more, amount of leads. We have actually reduced our yellow page presence by 70% and will continue to do so over the next few years.
 
We have used other marketing companies in the past, but have never had the results that we have with SMT. Their response time is excellent, their expertise is phenomenal, their design team is exceptional and after working with them for the last ten years it has become almost effortless. They know what we need and want prior to us asking and we will only use SMT as long as we are in business.
