QR Codes are two-dimensional barcodes. QR stands for Quick Response and were developed to contain more data and character types then current barcodes. Mobile Search On the Rise in US
comScore M:Metrics released a new report denoting that mobile search grew 68% in the U.S. over June 2007. The report also notes that the U.S. had a 9.2% penetration of mobile subscribers using search. The expansion of 3G and smart phones, as well as the widely available flat-rate data plans, has helped fuel the fire for mobile search. It was also noted that Google has a 63% market share of mobile-browers, followed by Yahoo at 34.6%.
