In a commercial made just to point out the shortcomings of Apple's iPhone, Google and Verizon's "Droid Does" campaign has officially taken off the gloves in their battle with Apple and AT&T. When Google's Eric Schmidt resigned from Apple's board of directors back in August you knew more competition between the two companies was coming and this appears to be the first real shot across Apple's bow.
It's a very simple commercial showcasing what the iPhone can't do that began showing during major sporting events over the weekend. The 30 second spot features lines such as "iDon't have a real keyboard" and "iDon't allow open development" and points you to, http://www.droiddoes.com which is currently only excepting emails for when more information becomes available.
