LinkedIn Experiment Final Update

The final update on Dave's LinkedIn Experiment. It is almost 3 years to the day that I started this experiment. I am now up to 122 (1st Tier) direct connections, 33,400+ 2nd Tier connections and a total network of 2,869,000.

I have been putting in more effort on LinkedIn lately. I have been trying to do more business related updates for the folks following me, finding more interesting stuff to put on my LinkedIn page, updating my Amazon reading list and participating in a few groups like eMarketer Association Network.

The bottom line is it isn't hard to get start using a social network. It does take time to keep it up and make it more interesting. As you can see, it takes a while to build even a small social network. So in the words of Harvey McKay... "Dig Your Well Before You Are Thirsty".
