Why Website Analytics for Your Website?

From day one, you need to make sure your web hosting provider sets up website analytics for your website. Web Analytics is software that will track information about visitors to your website. Without it, you are “flying blind”, you have no idea how many visitors you have or where they came from.

 

With the right analytics program you can tell things like... how long visitors are staying on your website; what web pages they are visiting; where the website traffic came from and much, much more.

 

Insist the hosting company has analytics on your site or find another host provider. Programs like Google Analytics are free, so they have no excuses for not having it. If you have never seen an analytics report for your website, ask to start receiving them. You’ll be amazed at the useful information it provides.

After years of continued growth, Arnott Inc. (ArnottInc.com), has moved into a new, much larger, production facility on Florida’s Space Coast. In addition to expanded corporate offices, the new location houses Arnott’s warehouse and distribution center which will provide customers with streamlined logistics and faster shipping. The new facility more than doubles Arnott’s advanced 30,000 square foot Research & Development center so new products and applications can be designed, tested and brought to market faster.

The new 14 acre complex includes an expanded recycling and re-manufacturing center, plus the company’s significantly expanded manufacturing facility housing a state-of-the-art CNC machine shop. Arnott’s machining facility features Mazak® CNC machinery, including various turning and vertical machining centers, a 4000-watt 6-axis laser, and the new Mazak® Integrex® series, the most advanced and sophisticated 5-axis CNC machine on the market. This impressive fully-robotic machine eliminates multiple setups, improving and ensuring part integrity and efficiency. The complex will also be the home to a future purpose built quarter mile test track.

Pinterst is a rising star in the social media game, as users, or “pinners”, use
their account to organize everything from home remodeling ideas to new diet recipes. With 32 different topic areas, Pinterest offers a comprehensive wish list to users with categories including fitness, art and science, do-it-yourself, and more. Pinners can post or organize their interests by topics or theme by "pinning" them to boards.
 
Even though Pinterest is an “invite-only” website, it has already cracked the current list of top 10 social networks, putting it in the company of social media giants like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. By creatively utilizing Pinterest, more and more retailers are finding that it can be a useful tool for driving traffic to their websites. The number of unique visitors increased 429% from September 2011 to December 2011. In terms of referral traffic from Pinterest, the numbers show a blockbuster growth accounting for 3.6% of referrals in January 2012; up from just 0.17% in July 2011. Pinterest is barely edged out by sites like Twitter (3.61% of referral traffic) and Google (3.62%); Facebook remains the highest in referrals, accounting for 26.4% of the traffic.
 

Pinterest allows for “Sell Pins” as well. If in the description a “$” is included, the Pin will appear in the "Gifts" category with a price banner included over the photo. By linking the photo in the Pin to your website, it allows fans to know the purchase price and easily go to your page to purchase the item.
