Are you using Instagram to reach your customers? Instagram is one of the latest crazes in social sharing, allowing users to share photos with friends and family, adding filters to transform their look and feel, and share to other social networks like Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr. It also allows its users to “tag” their photos, and search hashtags so those with similar interests can find you.
If you are using Instagram, or are thinking of adding it to your dossier of social networks, HootSuite is making it a little easier to manage. Since November, HootSuite has been adding more and more social networks to its content management system. Before this time, it only covered Facebook, Foursquare, LinkedIn, Mixi, MySpace, Ping.fm, Twitter, and WordPress. Now, it has added YouTube, Tumblr, Flickr, Diff, MailChimp, RSS Reader, HubSpot, and others to its list of options.
For Instagram, HootSuite allows people to view their photostream along with comments, likes, and searches, as well as add comments, like photos, and share photos to other networks. While this is useful, users still have to upload new photos from their mobile devices instead of directly from HootSuite.
But HootSuite is not just stopping with Instagram, as it plans to continue to grow in the future. Launched in 2008, HootSuite believes that it will reach 6 million users by the end of 2012. It can be a highly useful tool, but some beginners find it hard to navigate.
If you are interested in using HootSuite to manage your social media accounts, or need help figuring out a strategy for your social networks, Sales & Marketing Technologies will be glad to help. Contact us today for a free consultation!
